What is CEVO 5 Ambulance – Online?

CEVO 5 Ambulance Online is a self-paced online Emergency Vehicle Operator Course built exclusively for ambulance operators, delivering the same gold standard CEVO curriculum in a fully online format.

The course covers all key defensive driving concepts including vehicle inspection and characteristics, SCC (Scanning, Cushion of Safety, Communicating), emergency and non-emergency driving, and new topics including Ambulance Operators and The Law, Use of Lights and Sirens, Distracted Driving, and Roadway Incident Scene Safety.

Video presentations feature operator point-of-view footage, real traffic situations, dashcam content, and actual ambulance crash analysis, with a randomized final test unique to each user and a downloadable certificate generated upon passing.

How Does CEVO 5 Ambulance – Online Work?

Individuals or organizations purchase authorization keys to access the course, with access instructions sent to the email address entered at checkout upon purchase. The training takes four or more hours to complete and a downloadable certificate is generated upon passing the final test.

For large organizations with an existing Learning Management System, the course can be hosted directly on your LMS, and keys can be purchased in bulk and assigned as needed to scale training across an entire fleet without scheduling coordination or instructor dependency.
